About this course
An Introduction to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders was developed in collaboration with the Telethon Kids Institute. It provides an overview of alcohol use and women, the impact of alcohol on the developing fetus, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) diagnosis, and FASD prevention including brief interventions and screening.
Target audience: Human service providers who work with women of child bearing age, their families and communities.
Duration: approximately 3 hours
