This training is part of the Strong Spirit Strong Mind Training Program.

Part 2

To attend Part 2 training, participants are required to have attended Ways of working with Aboriginal people – Part 1.

This session builds on culturally secure concepts and models, and introduces resources to respond to Aboriginal alcohol and other drug use.

Target audience

Workers who have Aboriginal clients: individuals and families. Aboriginal workers are encouraged to attend.

Places for this event are limited and registration does not guarantee acceptance. If you are offered a place, we ask that you make a commitment to attend. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible – as we may be able to offer your place to another applicant. Where it is agency policy, you must have your manager’s approval to attend prior to submitting your application. All events will be held in Perth and venue details will be provided at confirmation.
