This training event is part of the Strong Spirit Strong Future Training Program.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a sensitive and complex issue. The Strong Spirit Strong Future Project workshop provides information on alcohol guidelines, FASD and prevention strategies for professionals who are working with Aboriginal women of child-bearing age who may be using alcohol.
Skills for conducting brief interventions and screening for alcohol use will be included in the training. Participants will receive culturally secure resources to support their work in this area.
Health, education and community service providers who work with Aboriginal women, their families and communities.

Where it is agency policy, you must have your manager’s approval to attend prior to submitting your application. All events will be held in Perth and venue details will be provided at confirmation.
