Aboriginal Alcohol and Drug Service

The Aboriginal Alcohol and Drug Service provides culturally appropriate services that are delivered by Aboriginal people. A range of holistic services are on offer including:
  • alcohol and drug counselling (yarning)
  • community outreach and development programs
  • family support, counselling and advocacy services
  • court diversion and drug court programs and services
  • youth support and outreach programs
  • education and training program and workshops on parenting, anger management, cannabis education, counselling services
  • Wooree Miya Women's Refuge
  • music therapy 
  • kinesiology
Located at 211 Royal Street in East Perth, the service also has partnerships with withdrawal and residential rehabilitation services such as Next Step Drug and Alcohol Services, Cyrenian House and Palmerston Association.
