Night Venues and Entertainment Events Project

The Night Venues and Entertainment Events Project (NVEEP) brings together industry, government agencies and health professionals in a coordinated effort aimed at reducing the harm and violence caused by alcohol and other drugs.

Coordinated by the Drug and Alcohol Office, NVEEP is a collaborative initiative with the Western Australia Police, Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor, Nightclub Owners' Association, Australian Hotels’ Association, WA AIDS Council, National Drug Research Institute (NDRI), Western Australian Substance Users’ Association (WASUA) and industry.

NVEEP conducts annual research of patrons’ experiences at night venues and observational assessment of licensed venues around the state.
