The Saranna Woman’s Program aims to enhance the quality of life and well being of women and their dependant children who are affected by addictive and/or compulsive behaviour. The program aims to reduce the barriers to recovery from substance dependence that are more likely to occur for women. The service takes into account women’s roles, relative status, and socialisation within the larger community.
The accommodation for women with young children is in self-contained cottages, to maintain the development of the family unity.
