Description

Chesterfield House provides short term, up to 3 months, supported accommodation to homeless young people aged 15-19 years. We are able to accommodate 6 young people, 3 males and 3 females, in a home environment.

The Chesterfield House approach works from key principles of empowerment, self-determination, confidentiality, collaboration and valuing young people. We work with you to identify your goals and needs, then work together in achieving positive outcomes. Our program assists and supports you by providing a safe and secure environment and opportunities to address issues. We take a case management approach in the provision of support, advocacy, referrals, informal counselling, recreation and on site alcohol and drug education and support.

Accommodation. Independent living skills. Physical and emotional health. Relationships. Income and budgeting. Employment and training. Legal issues.

Target Groups

Homeless young people aged 15-19 years.
