Cross Roads provides counselling and group programs for people suffering from drug and alcohol and gambling problems. It operates under the banner of the Catholic Church. Cross Roads Community is a charitable organization and relies heavily on donations and fundraising. It was started in 2000 by Fr Paul Bacyzinski who is in charge. It employs a full time counsellor/social worker and a small number of volunteers.
Cross Roads works in a holistic way incorporating Mind, Body and Soul. Clients do not need to be of the Catholic faith but need to have an open mind that God can play an important role in the recovery process. By 2008 Cross Roads will also provide an intensive residential rehabilitation facility.
