Cyrenian House is a not-for-profit non-government organisation with over 25 years of successful operations within the field of drug and alcohol treatments. Non Residential and Residential treatment programs are available for people suffering from the effects of drug & alcohol misuse, and for people affected by the drug and alcohol misuse of another.
Services Offered: Non-residential Services
Out Patient treatment, continuing care and after care.
Individual counselling and support to people voluntarily seeking treatment for their drug and alcohol misuse.
Contractual programs offered to people referred with treatment conditions from services such as Department of Justice, the Courts, Department of Community Development etc.
Family Program targeting family and friends, including children than are affected by the drug/alcohol use of another.
Prison to Parole Program, assessment and counselling in prison, and for individuals re-entering the community from prisons.
Residential Program
involves a Therapeutic Community set in a semi-rural property 20 minutes north of Perth at the Rick Hamersley Centre. This Therapeutic Community provides a safe environment for those effected by substance misuse and includes:
The mixed gender program
to support and maximise the benefits of drug rehabilitations treatment for men and women seeking to change their drug and alcohol using patterns and in need of an intensive drug treatment program
‘Saranna’ Women’s Children’s residential program specifically designed for women with young dependant children who are affected by alcohol/drug misuse. This program provides the opportunity for women with their children to experience an alcohol and/or illicit drug free lifestyle in a safe environment.
