The North Metropolitan Centre was opened for clients in Dugdale Street, Warwick during May of 2003. The centre primarily caters for clients from the northern suburbs. Until the opening of the North Metropolitan Drug and Alcohol centre, clients from the northern suburbs were required to attend the East Metropolitan Centre for treatment. The centre provides a full range of services including specialist outpatient assessment, treatment and case management services from referrals through other alcohol and drug agencies, general practitioners and other health care providers.

As with other centres the clinical services are provided through a multi-disciplinary team and in addition to clinical assessment, the service provides specialist consultancy, support and education services to general practitioners, health professionals and other government and non-government services.
